Vancouver School Board won't decide on formal 'dissection policy' just yet

Vancouver (CKNW/AM980) – The Vancouver school board wants more information before making any decisions on a request that students be allowed to opt out of the dissection of animals in the classroom.

While teachers say students already can, the board is being asked to come up with a formal policy that would allow alternatives, like computer 'virtual'
dissections.

It's unclear when the issue will be brought back for more discussion.
